The Fox and Hounds is a traditional village pub with a friendly atmosphere.
We offer a selection of delicious foods along with several real local ales and ciders. Our pub was once a coaching house, and has now been extended with Georgian and Victorian additions. The pub itself contains several drinking and dining rooms, including a piano for live music and sofas for relaxing. Take away food is also available. We advise booking especially for a Sunday lunch.
The pub is located roughly about ten minutes away from junction 18, M4. We are a five minute drive away from Castle Combe racing circuit. Bristol and Swindon are also just a twenty minute motorway drive away from us.
We have also recently added accommodation to our pub for those of you who fancy a country retreat for several days.

Would like to say thank you for a fantastic meal last Thursday when we visited as a group of 6 for a Birthday. Fantastic choice of dishes, all cooked exceptionally, especially the Chicken Paris. Everybody was impressed and have recommended you to several people since.
